STEM / Nova Day @ HMNS
September 21, 2019, Houston Museum of Natural Science
Scouts@HMNS is hosting their fourth annual STEM/Nova Day on Saturday, September 21st for Cub Scouts, Webelos, Scouts BSA and their families! Scouts will have access to the Museum at a discounted rate while working towards requirements for Nova Awards. The program will begin at 9am and conclude at 1pm. Scouts will have the opportunity to work on certain STEM/Nova Awards during their visit to HMNS.

Rocket Day

Scouts who join Cub Scouts this year will receive a rocket that they can design, build, and launch at Rocket Day. Scouts in kindergarten through fifth grade who are interested in joining Scouting may also attend. We will help you find a pack near you and get signed up for Scouting.

Fun, Family is an overnight campout for newly registered Cub Scouts and their adult partner and families at Bovay Scout Ranch . Scouts can participate in archery, sling shots, crafts, rockets, sports, campfire and more.

Adventure Camp is weekend campout for Cub Scouts and their families at Bovay Scout Ranch. Lions, Tigers, Wolves, Bears and Webelos Scouts and their families will enjoy an exciting variety of activities at several program areas. Meals are eaten in the air-conditioned dining hall. A staff member in each area will provide program supplies and support the parents who will be invited to assist in leading the activities.

Space Center Houston Scout Camp-In
Space Center Houston engages Scouts in an interactive and hands-on learning environment. Scouts will have an enriched experience in our Camp-In that teaches Scouts about the science, technology, engineering and mathematics involved with space exploration. Each camp-in is tailored to the individual ages of the Scouts. The activities are badge-inspired, STEM-based and all about space!
